SCREE — high-altitude outdoor gear — live site

What this kind of site has to do

Outdoor gear stores usually pour everything into one flat catalog, which only works if the buyer already knows exactly what they need. SCREE's range runs from base-camp layers to expedition kit, and a mountaineer choosing a 3,000m pack has almost nothing in common with someone buying an approach shoe.

The approach

The fifteen-item line is split into three elevation tiers — Summit, Talus, Treeline — so the catalog maps to the trip, not the SKU. Product pages lead with large photography and a 'repaired forever' guarantee, category-specific spare parts are carried through, and the cart sits in the header to keep the path to checkout short.

What the study demonstrates

A storefront where the range reads as a system: elevation-based navigation, a lifetime-repair promise on every page, and a fast, image-led build that lets the gear do the talking.
